Elina Fūrmane Embraces Tailored Style and Latvian Design for ‘Koru Kari’ Appearances

Latvian singer Elīna Fūrmane is updating her wardrobe with a focus on sophisticated suits and incorporating Latvian design elements, particularly as she prepares for appearances on the popular show Koru kari (Choir Wars). Fūrmane’s style evolution reflects a shift towards a more polished and business-oriented aesthetic, influenced by her time living and working in Los Angeles.

From Los Angeles Real Estate to Latvian Television

Fūrmane shared that her fondness for suits began during her time as a real estate agent in Los Angeles. Unlike many of her colleagues who favored casual attire, she preferred to project a professional image. “While others did this work in shorts and T-shirts, I liked to create a business image,” she explained in an interview with Privātā Dzīve. Her closet now features several suits in various shades of blue.

Blending International Finds with Latvian Craftsmanship

Fūrmane seamlessly blends pieces acquired during her travels with support for Latvian brands. A patterned suit purchased in Arizona is perfectly complemented by earrings from Novaliss, a Latvian jewelry brand. She recently acquired a light blue suit in Riga, chosen to accentuate her long, light hair. “Each of our outings [on Koru kari] is planned as a theatrical show. Clothing will be an important part of this story,” Fūrmane stated.

Novaliss: A Latvian Fashion Brand Gaining Recognition

Novaliss, founded by Laura Anspokoi, is a Latvian brand that has been gaining attention for its original and multifunctional festive clothing. L’Officiel Baltic highlights the brand’s defiance of traditional wedding fashion. The brand was also recently featured at Riga Fashion Week with its “The Last Lunar Dance” bridal collection, which celebrated female strength and heritage. Fashion Press Corner reported on the collection.

A Fashion-Forward Approach to ‘Koru Kari’

Fūrmane is intentionally incorporating sky blue hues into her wardrobe for Koru kari, moving away from her previous preference for darker tones. Her latest addition is a costume from the Siluets store. She views the show as an opportunity to combine music and fashion, creating a visually compelling experience for the audience.
