NORMAN, OK – The Oklahoma Sooners softball team made history on Sunday, March 8, 2026, hitting their 100th home run of the season during a 2-1 victory over the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns at Love’s Field. This milestone was reached in just 25 games, setting a novel NCAA record, surpassing their previous best of 36 games set in 2021.

Historic Home Run Pace

Ella Parker’s third-inning home run marked the 100th of the season for the Sooners. The team’s offensive prowess has been a key factor in their 23-2 record. Parker’s home run traveled 247 feet to left field, adding to her season total of 11. Kasidi Pickering and Isabela Emerling are also closing in on double-digit home run totals, with nine each.
