Michal Strnad, the owner of the defense conglomerate Czechoslovak Group (CSG), is now the wealthiest Czech, boasting a fortune of $31 billion. This marks a sevenfold increase in his wealth following CSG’s initial public offering (IPO).

The 2026 Forbes list reveals a record 3,428 billionaires globally, an increase of 400 from 2025. Their combined wealth totals $20.1 trillion, a rise of $4 trillion from the previous year.
