Endeavor Catalyst Launches $320 Million Fund V for European Startup Expansion
US venture capital investor Endeavor Catalyst has launched its $320 million Fund V, targeting Europe as its fastest-growing market, according to a report by tech.eu. The firm’s expansion comes as European tech startups scale rapidly, with the fund backing more than 90 companies across 10 European countries to date.
Fund V Targets European Scaleups
Endeavor Catalyst manages more than $850 million in assets and has supported 437 companies across 44 markets globally, including 83 firms valued at $1 billion or more and 39 exits. Within Europe, 20 portfoliocompanies have reached unicorn status. Fund V has already backed European-founded ventures such as Bulgaria-based EnduroSat and HappyRobot, founded by Spanish entrepreneurs.
These additions join a regional portfolio that includes Bending Spoons, ElevenLabs, Preply, ICEYE, and Fever. Pete Benedetto, head of Europe at Endeavor Catalyst, stated that Fund V ensures European founders secure the capital necessary to build the next generation of global companies.
Accelerating Investment Pace Across Ten Markets
The firm invested in 12 European companies selected through Endeavor’s regional offices during the first half of 2026. This pace outpaces prior years, following 14 investments throughout 2025 and seven in 2024. European portfolio companies backed by Catalyst in 2025 and early 2026 raised $3.3 billion in financing rounds.
Endeavor Catalyst operates in 10 European markets: Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine. The London global hub, established in 2024, serves more than 90 Endeavor entrepreneurs and 100 companies, connecting founders with international capital, talent, and mentors.
Fund V Targets Deep Tech and AI Investments
Fund V is concentrating its remaining 2026 deployment on deep tech, foundational artificial intelligence, and cloud infrastructure. The firm anticipates deploying an additional $25 million to $30 million before the end of the year across its active pipelines in Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
