Enna Miau Brings Interactive “Bee Adventures” to Dresden Children
Dresden, Germany – Musician and children’s book author Enna Miau is currently touring daycare centers, elementary schools, and libraries throughout Saxony with her interactive reading program, “Bee Adventures.” The program, centered around her five published “Bee Adventure” books since 2019, aims to educate children about local nature, animals, and plants.
Funded Tour Supports Educational Outreach
The Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden Foundation and the Dresden District House – Outer Neustadt eV are supporting Miau’s tour, which is scheduled to continue until June 2026. This funding allows her to bring her unique program to a wider audience within Dresden.
What to Expect at a “Bee Adventure” Reading
Miau’s readings are designed to be engaging and interactive. Using a projector, ukulele, and a character named Millie the bee, she reads a seasonal adventure story and encourages children to discuss the illustrations and the natural world depicted within them. The readings are approximately 45 minutes long and are suitable for groups of around 40 children aged three to eight years.
Win a Reading for Your Child’s Facility
The Neustadt-Gehisper is currently hosting a raffle to provide away three of Miau’s readings. To enter, individuals with a child, grandchild, niece, or nephew in a children’s facility in the 01099 postal code area, or those who work in such a facility, can submit a clear entry. The raffle closes shortly before midnight on March 15, 2026. Legal recourse is excluded.
