Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus: A New Era of Immersive Home Entertainment
Epson has expanded its Lifestudio lineup with the Lifestudio Grand Plus, an ultra short throw laser projector designed to deliver a cinematic experience within the home. Priced at $3,799.99, the projector aims to redefine home entertainment by combining a 4K HDR picture, integrated Bose audio, and smart features powered by Google TV with Gemini.
A True All-in-One Entertainment Solution
As demand for larger, more immersive home entertainment experiences grows, consumers are seeking alternatives to traditional, large-screen displays. The Lifestudio Grand Plus addresses this need by offering a complete solution in a compact form factor. Available in both black and white finishes, the projector is designed to seamlessly blend into various home décor styles. It projects images up to 150 inches from just inches away from the wall, making it suitable for a wide range of room layouts and ceiling heights.
Enhanced Picture Quality and Brightness
Leveraging Epson’s 4K Display Technology, the Lifestudio Grand Plus projects 8.29 million pixels on-screen with HDR10 color, delivering exceptional brightness, contrast, and detail. The projector boasts a brightness of 4,000 lumens, an increase from the 3,600 lumens found in the previous Lifestudio model. This improvement ensures vivid images even in well-lit spaces. Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD technology, combined with the laser light source, contributes to the projector’s vibrant and detailed picture quality.
Smart Features with Google TV and Gemini
The Lifestudio Grand Plus is among the first projectors to integrate Google TV with Gemini, offering users an AI-driven content experience. This integration provides access to a wide range of streaming apps, voice control functionality, and enhanced navigation and discovery features. Epson has confirmed that the Gemini features will likewise be rolled out to other Lifestudio models later in 2026.
Immersive Audio with Bose Integration
To complete the all-in-one entertainment package, the Lifestudio Grand Plus features a built-in 2.1-channel Sound by Bose speaker system. This eliminates the need for external speakers, simplifying setup and providing a high-quality audio experience.
Lifestudio Grand Plus vs. Lifestudio Grand
The Lifestudio Grand Plus builds upon the foundation of the existing Lifestudio Grand, which remains available for $2,699. While both models offer ultra short throw projection, 4K PRO-UHD pixel shifting, a 3-chip 3LCD laser system, and HDR10 support, the Grand Plus distinguishes itself with increased brightness (4,000 lumens vs. 3,600 lumens) and a larger projection range (up to 150 inches vs. 120 inches).
Availability
The Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus is available now for $3,799.99 in both black and white finishes.
