EsDeeKid Releases New Single “Omens” Following Successful 2025 and Tour Dates
EsDeeKid has released a new single, “Omens,” continuing the momentum from a breakout 2025 and a busy touring schedule. The track showcases the Liverpool artist’s distinctive style,characterized by drawn-out vowel sounds and a playful lyrical approach.
EsDeeKid’s delivery in “Omens” is marked by elongated “O” sounds, blending with his regional accent to create a powerful, almost declamatory musicality. lyrically, he incorporates a tongue-in-cheek sensibility, exemplified by lines referencing historical and cultural touchstones, such as declaring, “We’re takin’ it all, we’re the Romans,” and referencing a “Rebel economy.”
The release of “Omens” follows a highly successful period for both EsDeeKid and the UK rap scene.2025 saw a surge in popularity for UK rap,with EsDeeKid’s album Rebel becoming one of the year’s biggest releases.
