European Stock Markets Down; Prysmian Shares Plunge in Piazza Affari

(Teleborsa) – Overall negative day for Eurozone stock marketswhich end with a minus sign, weighed down by Piazza Affari which is doing significantly worse, where Prysmian has paid the price for the rumors according to which Trump could reduce duties on steel and aluminium. Meanwhile on Wall Street theS&P-500 marks an increase of 0.51%, with American inflation just below expectations which could raise the prospect of an upcoming Fed rate cut.

L’Euro / US dollar maintains the position substantially stable at 1.187. Strong earnings day fororowhich marks an increase of 1.81%. Weak session for oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil), which trades with a drop of 0.27%.

Lo Spread takes a small step downwards, with a drop of 1.64% to +60 basis points, while the yield on the 10-year BTP stands at 3.36%.

Among the main European stock exchanges small steps forward for Frankfurtwhich marks a marginal increase of 0.25%, a moderately positive day for Londonrising a fractional +0.42%, and moderate contraction for Pariswhich suffers a drop of 0.35%.

In Milan, sharp decline in FTSE MIB (-1.71%), which reached 45,431 points, continuing the series of four consecutive declines that began last Tuesday; along the same lines, the FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich closed the session at 48,158 points.

Downhill the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-1.43%); along the same lines, very bad FTSE Italia Star (-1,83%).

Between the best performers of Milan, highlighted Inwit (+5,16%), Tenaris (+2,45%), Telecom Italia (+2,16%) e Buzzi (+1,81%).

The worst performances, however, were recorded on BPER Bankwhich closed at -5.72%.

Bad performance for Banca Popolare di Sondriowhich recorded a decline of 5.49%.

Black session for BPM Bankwhich leaves a loss of 4.43%.

Under pressure Unicreditwhich suffered a decline of 3.79%.

Between the best stocks in the FTSE MidCap, Married (+5,20%), WIIT (+5,01%), NewPrinces (+4,32%) e Ascopiave (+4,03%).

The steepest declines, however, occurred on Interpumpwhich closed the session at -18.31%.

At a loss Cementirwhich drops by 8.60%.

Heavy BFF Bankwhich marks a decrease of -6.38 percentage points.

It slides Comer Industrieswith a clear disadvantage of 3.51%.
