Excite Audio has released Evolve Air, the latest installment in its Evolve series of sample-based synthesizer instruments. Building on the foundations laid by Evolve Alloy (launched in July 2025) and Evolve Velvet (released last September), Evolve Air focuses on creating ethereal and spacious sonic textures.
Inspired by Ambient Pioneers
Evolve Air draws inspiration from experimental and ambient music innovators such as Tim Hecker, Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, and Oneohtrix Point Never. The plugin is designed to add depth, movement, and atmosphere to a wide range of musical genres, including ambient compositions, film scoring, leftfield electronica, and immersive sound design.
