Facebook Launches Creator Fast Track Program, Offering Payments to TikTok and YouTube Stars
Facebook is implementing a new strategy to attract content creators, specifically targeting those with established followings on competing platforms like TikTok and YouTube. The initiative, dubbed “Creator Fast Track,” involves direct financial incentives for creators who share their videos on Facebook.
Financial Incentives for Creators
The program offers varying monthly payments based on creator follower count. Creators with over one million followers on other platforms can earn up to $3,000 per month by sharing their content on Facebook. Those with 100,000 followers are eligible for $1,000 per month.
Program Requirements
To participate, creators must meet specific content creation requirements. Those with over one million followers are expected to publish at least 15 Reels per month – approximately one every two days. The program is designed for “established creators who are new to Facebook or just discovering the platform,” according to Meta’s press release.
Limited Availability
Currently, the Creator Fast Track program is only available to creators in the United States and Canada. There is no confirmed timeline for potential expansion to other regions, including Europe and Spain.
Meta’s Rationale
Meta acknowledges the challenges creators face when starting on a new platform. “We’ve heard from creators who have built a following on other platforms about how daunting it can be to start from scratch on Facebook, so we’re introducing the Creator Fast Track program to make it easier and faster to acquire started,” Meta stated.
Recent Meta Developments
This initiative follows Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony in a landmark social media addiction trial in February 2026, where he addressed concerns about young people’s use of Instagram (AP News). It similarly comes after Zuckerberg admitted in April 2025 that he acquired Instagram since its camera technology was superior to Facebook’s (USA Today).
