Indonesian television personality Fadi Iskandar has publicly shared his reaction to the divorce proceedings of celebrity couple Sara Wijayanto and Demian Aditya. Speaking to Insert on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, Fadi admitted he was caught off guard by the separation news and urged the couple to reflect on their shared history as their court-mandated mediation continues.
“What I want to say to them: remember the times when you cherished each other, loved each other,” Fadi said, as reported by Insert.

As a close friend of both parties, Fadi noted that the public reaction has been intense because many people hold genuine affection for both individuals. He explained that public surprise stems from widespread goodwill toward the couple, referring to them affectionately as Pak Dem and Mbak.
Fadi recalled that his most recent interaction with Demian took place at a film premiere, where he also crossed paths with Sara. According to Fadi, neither individual raised any concerns regarding their domestic life during those encounters, describing the atmosphere as completely normal.
“There were no issues like this yet. No talk about anything, everything was fine,” Fadi stated.
Mediation Hopes and Close Friendships Ties
Expressing sadness over the split, Fadi voiced hope that the ongoing court mediation sessions would provide a constructive space for Sara and Demian to communicate and reconnect with their past affection. He emphasized that as long as mediation remains active, there is an opportunity for dialogue.
“The sad part is if they really have to separate. So right now I can only pray, pray, pray, pray. Because there is still mediation, hopefully their mediation can let them talk together, feel that love again like before. Who knows, they might still be together,” Fadi remarked.
Fadi added that his concern stems from deep personal ties, explaining that he views Sara as an older sister and Demian as a brother. He noted that his worry extends equally to both sides of the relationship rather than favoring one individual.
