Faith No More Takes Friday Night at Graspop Metal Meeting 2027
Alternative rock veterans Faith No More will close out the North Stage on Friday, June 18, 2027, as the third headliner for the thirtieth anniversary of Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium, festileaks.com reported. The festival runs for four days from June 17 through June 20, 2027, at Festivalpark Stenehei. While Rock Werchter was previously considered a potential destination for the California-based group, they have now secured a closing slot at the Dessel grounds.
Returning to Dessel After Canceled Tour Dates
The San Francisco band arrives at the Belgian metal festival following previous cancellations. In 2022, the group called off their scheduled tour, which included a planned appearance at Graspop, missing the chance to celebrate the festival’s twenty-fifth anniversary. They also missed a scheduled appearance in 2020. The musicians return to the Desselse meadow for the first time since 2015. Regarding the booking, it was noted that while Mike Patton and his bandmates might be in their Midlife Crisis,
fans can now rest easy knowing the slot for a classic headliner
has been filled.
Building the Thirtieth Anniversary Lineup
Organizers continue to roll out the bill for the milestone edition. Parkway Drive holds down the headlining slot on Thursday, June 17, while blink-182 closes out the main stage on Saturday, June 19. Sunday remains unannounced.
Dessel Festival Tickets Will Go on Sale Soon
Tickets for the four-day anniversary event are not yet on sale, though the organization expects to release purchasing information soon. Fans looking to gift festival access may use the Festival Cadeaukaart, which is redeemable for over 1,000 events. The festival grounds in Dessel will host rock and metal fans for the weekend celebration.
