Faith No More are officially reuniting and will make their return to the Czech Republic as headliners at the Rock for People festival, which runs from June 2 to June 5, at Park 360 in Hradec Králové. Festival organizers announced the booking alongside pop-punk heavyweights blink-182 and an extensive wave of rock and metal acts.
Faith No More Returns to Hradec Králové
The reunion marks a significant comeback for the band, who have been inactive since 2021. Festival director Luděk Motyčka highlighted the historical ties between the band and the event, noting that Faith No More previously performed at Rock for People in 2015 to make up for a canceled 2012 appearance that was thwarted by a severe storm. Bassist Bill Gould addressed the physical demands of the band’s catalog in an interview on the Rock Talk podcast, admitting that while the music is intense, the members agreed they still have the stamina for a live run. Faith No More is scheduled to perform on Thursday, June 3.
Blink-182 and Headliners
Blink-182 will anchor the opening night of the festival on Wednesday, June 2. Motyčka emphasized the exclusivity of the appearance, noting that the pop-punk trio has announced only four European festival dates for 2027. The festival’s lineup bridges multiple generations of punk, metal, and alternative music, leaning heavily into aggressive guitar genres for its upcoming edition.
Expanded Lineup Featuring Architects and Napalm Death
Organizers confirmed a broad roster of supporting acts joining the headliners in Hradec Králové. The bill includes Canadian punk mainstays Billy Talent, British grindcore veterans Napalm Death, and pop-punk outfit Neck Deep. The metalcore roster features Motionless in White, Killswitch Engage, and Architects. Architects released their album The Sky, the Earth & All Between to positive critical reception for its aggressive tracklist featuring songs like “Blackhole” and “Whiplash.”
Additional artists rounding out the latest festival announcement include Static-X, Sleeping with Sirens, Wage War, Fat Dog, Beach Bunny, Guilt Trip, Blue Medusa featuring Alissa White-Gluz, From Ashes To New, and Holding Absence. Organizers plan to roll out further artist announcements and additional headliners in subsequent waves ahead of the June event.
