Farming Simulator 25 Gets a Boost with the Vredo Pack and New Challenges
GIANTS Software has expanded the capabilities of Farming Simulator 25 with the release of the Vredo Pack, introducing advanced machinery for grassland management and a new threat to crops: wild boars. The downloadable content (DLC) is available now for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Advanced Grassland Management with Vredo Technology
The Vredo Pack introduces equipment from Vredo, a Dutch manufacturer specializing in overseeding and slurry injection technology, alongside a return of equipment from Evers Agro. This addition allows players to combat grassland degradation and improve yield potential using state-of-the-art machines.
Key Machines Included in the Vredo Pack
- Vredo DZ5 Agri 290: A seeder requiring 90HP with a working width of 2.8m and a capacity of 290l.
- Vredo DZ5 Agri Air 290: Another seeder needing 100HP, featuring a 2.8m working width and 1000l capacity.
- Vredo DZ5 Agri Twin 580: A more powerful seeder with a 150HP requirement, 5.7m working width, and 1000l capacity.
- Vredo VT4556: A slurry tanker with 450 HP, capable of speeds up to 40 km/h and holding 19500l.
- Vredo VT5536: A higher-capacity slurry tanker boasting 550 HP, 40 km/h speed, and a 22000l capacity.
- Vredo VT7138: The largest slurry tanker in the pack, offering 710 HP, 40 km/h speed, and a 32000l capacity.
- Vredo Profi Eco 6.0: A slurry tool with a 6m working width.
- Vredo Profi Eco 7.5: A slurry tool with a 7m working width.
Vredo’s slurry injectors improve soil nutrition and efficiency, increasing yield and crop quality.
New Challenges: Protecting Crops from Wild Boars
Alongside the new machinery, the Vredo Pack introduces wild boars as a threat to crops. Players must now manage this risk to prevent damage and protect their harvest, adding another layer of complexity to the farming simulation.
Availability and Season Pass
The Vredo Pack was released on March 24th and is available for $7.99 on PC and Mac. It is also included in the Year 2 Season Pass, which offers savings compared to purchasing the content separately. GIANTS Software will continue to release free content updates and support user-generated content through the official ModHub.
