Despite his rapid rise, the early spotlight brings constant public attention. If I go out with my boys or my family or want to go into town for a quick bite to eat, you always get recognized,
Karl said in the interview with DAZN. He noted that there has not been a single day where he has not posed for a photograph. While he acknowledges that being a role model is part of the job, he admitted, You just always feel like you’re being watched.
Family Guidance and Working with Michael Ballack
Karl’s father played a close role in his early development, frequently reviewing video analyses and offering strict critiques. Now that his son has reached the professional level, that dynamic has shifted. He doesn’t criticize me as often as he did in the youth ranks because he knows himself that I’ve made it to the top,
Karl explained. Video sessions with his father are a thing of the past.

To help navigate his career, Karl also relies on former Germany captain and Bayern star Michael Ballack. Describing Ballack as a good advisor, Karl noted that the prominent former midfielder provides valuable tips that reduce the need for paternal intervention.
Learning from Michael Olise on the Wing
Within the squad, Karl faces direct competition from Michael Olise, whom he regards as one of the top players globally. That’s something very, very special for me. I learn a lot from him and look at his things,
Karl said.
At the same time, the teenager remains confident in his own abilities on the pitch. While acknowledging Olise’s strengths, Karl noted that he possesses distinct qualities of his own, adding that most of his skills are already at a world-class level.
