German forward Armindo Sieb has transferred from FC Bayern Munich to Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC, according to an official announcement from the Bundesliga club.

Armindo Sieb Completes Permanent Transfer to Los Angeles FC

According to FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund, Sieb’s departure follows a multi-year development path that included loan spells to gain professional experience. Over the past two seasons, Sieb played on loan at 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga, where he built on earlier professional minutes. Sieb originally joined the FC Bayern Campus in the summer of 2020 from TSG Hoffenheim’s youth academy, subsequently making his professional debut in October 2020 during a DFB-Pokal match.

Freund noted that Sieb marks the second player to transition from the FC Bayern youth setup to their American partner club via the Red&Gold structure, following Timothy Tillman.

Background on Sieb’s Development and Career Path

Before his recent loan spell with Mainz 05, Sieb spent two seasons with SpVgg Greuther Fürth. During that stint, FC Bayern exercised a buy-back option on the young forward and signed him to a contract running through 2027.

In a related roster move announced alongside the Sieb transfer, FC Bayern also secured the permanent signing of Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.
