Fender Audio is making a significant entry into the competitive wireless headphone market with the unveiling of its first-ever wireless headphones, the Mix, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. A standout feature of these headphones is their exceptional battery life, possibly outlasting the duration of the four-day tech event itself.
The Fender Mix headphones deliver an impressive 100 hours of playtime with active noise cancellation (ANC) disabled, and a still-remarkable 52 hours when ANC is engaged at 50% volume. This surpasses many competitors, including Sony’s WH-1000XM6 (30-40 hours) and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (30 hours). While Marshall’s Major V also boasts 100 hours of battery life, the Mix headphones offer the added benefit of a replaceable battery, extending their lifespan and usability.A swift 15-minute charge provides an additional hour of listening,and a full charge is achievable in just two hours.
Modular Design and customization
Beyond battery performance, the Mix headphones feature a modular design, allowing users to customize their look by mixing and matching headbands and earcups. Initially launching in Skyscraper Black and Olympic White, three additional colour options will become available later.
