The multi-day event runs from the 18th to the 20th across the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), the Igansumun Exhibition Hall, and the JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Seoul.
FIFTY FIFTY Takes Center Stage at Entertainment Tech and GES Seoul 2026
The festival marks the first time organizers have merged two showcases: the “Entertech, Seoul” exhibition and the “GES” game and e스포츠 festival, according to OSEN. This year’s combined event places K-pop at its core. Organizers have scheduled immersive exhibitions and hands-on experiences combining K-pop with artificial intelligence and extended reality across the DDP venues, as reported by XportsNews. Festival attendees can experience virtual reality content built from FIFTY FIFTY’s intellectual property.
According to Attrakt, FIFTY FIFTY members will attend the opening ceremony on the 18th to participate in the official ambassador appointment ceremony and deliver a live congratulatory performance. Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong-jun will also be present at the opening day events to support the group.
Bridging K-Pop and Advanced Digital Technologies
FIFTY FIFTY was selected for the ambassador role due to their global presence, vocal capabilities, and stage execution, as noted by OSEN. The group previously performed at the Spotify Stage during the T1 Homeground Summer Festa, where member Athena also served as a T1 ambassador for the game Valorant, connecting the group with gaming and e-sports audiences.
The group stated that as K-pop artists, they are honored to serve as ambassadors for Entertainment Tech and GES Seoul 2026, where the fusion of K-pop and various technologies can be seen, and expressed their hope that many people will visit to experience the technology and charm of K-content firsthand.
The festival opens on the 18th, featuring technology demonstrations, VR experiences, and music performances designed to highlight the intersection of digital innovation and Korean entertainment.
