The police reported the fire at Høn-Landås in Asker at 1.47pm on Saturday. By then, the fire brigade was already on the scene and about to start extinguishing the fire.
– There are reports of flames and heavy smoke, wrote operations manager Eirik Sannes in the first report in the Police Log.
Sannes states that the emergency services were notified of the fire by a guard company.
A search was launched for any persons inside the home.
– There were two people in the home when the fire was reported, these two are out, says the police’s incident leader at the scene, Svein Arild Gjørunland.
The police say that the two people are not injured.
Many units from the emergency services rushed to the scene.

Probably started outside
The fire service is on the scene with seven fire engines, including a ladder truck which is used for the fire service to get to the roof and get an overview.

– The fire probably started outside, and then spread to a panel on the wall and further into the attic, says the fire service’s incident leader, Øivind Gultvedt.

The fire was reported extinguished at around 2.45pm.
– There is water and smoke damage inside the house, says Gultvedt.
What may have started to burn on the outside is currently unclear.
