Pebble Beach, CA – Ryo Hisatsune surged to the top of the leaderboard on Thursday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, carding a remarkable 10-under 62. The Japanese golfer holds a one-stroke lead over Americans Keegan Bradley and Sam Burns as the first round concluded.

While hisatsune set the pace, several notable players remain well within striking distance. Rory McIlroy navigated a challenging day, finishing with a 68 despite a couple of costly double-bogeys late in his round. Shane Lowry posted a strong 67, positioning himself favorably for the remainder of the tournament.

Lowry’s round on the Spyglass Hill course was highlighted by an remarkable eagle on the 14th hole, achieved with a 46-foot bunker shot. He began his day with consecutive birdies, ultimately carding four birdies overall. However,his scorecard wasn’t without blemishes,as he recorded two 5s on the par-three 3rd and 5th holes.
