Fluent, Inc. appointed Jeanniey Walden as its new Chief Marketing Officer on September 8, 2026, according to an official announcement from the New York-based commerce media solutions provider. A Deep Retail Background and Boardroom History

Walden brings a deep background in digital transformation, business growth, and commerce to Fluent. Her career includes leadership positions at Rite Aid, Thrifty Ice Cream, Barnes & Noble, JCPenney, Mercer, and DailyPay. Most recently, she founded Liftoff Enterprises, where she advised business leaders on brand strategy and growth, while also hosting the nationally broadcast show Liftoff with Jeanniey Walden and its companion podcast, Liftoff Journeys.

Before joining the executive team, Walden served on Fluent’s Board of Advisors, helping shape company strategy around commerce media, customer experience, and growth. In her new position, she will oversee global marketing strategy, lead brand and go-to-market initiatives, and align marketing across the company’s broader business, including its Owned and Operated and Trevant operations.

Commerce Media Powers Revenue Surge

Walden’s appointment arrives as commerce media establishes itself as one of the fastest-growing segments in marketing. Fluent’s commerce media business drove 63% of the company’s total consolidated revenue in the second quarter of 2026, pushing its annual revenue run rate past $125 million.

Leadership Perspective on Modern Media Strategies

Fluent CEO Don Patrick noted that Walden’s background aligns directly with the company’s trajectory. Patrick stated that Walden understands their customers because she has been one, having spent her career building brands and navigating the commerce media challenges clients face today.

Walden emphasized the balance required in modern media strategies. Walden stated that the future of media requires a fine balance between bottom-line results and outstanding customer experiences, adding that Fluent leverages deterministic data, social selling, and post-transaction experiences effectively.

Scaling Enterprise Reach and In-Store Solutions

Fluent’s platform connects top-tier brands with engaged consumers through exclusive ad inventory, first-party data, and proprietary machine learning. The company’s client roster includes major brands such as CVS, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bath & Body Works, Walmart, and Wyndham.
