Apple Sues Jon Prosser Over iOS 26 Leaks, Continues to Face Render Leaks

Apple is actively pursuing legal action against YouTuber Jon Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti, alleging the misappropriation of trade secrets related to iOS 26. The iOS 26 Leak and Lawsuit

Earlier this year, Jon Prosser shared videos showcasing what he claimed were recreations of iOS 26, which was officially unveiled at WWDC in June. These included a redesigned Camera app with simplified controls and a revamped Messages app featuring rounded navigation buttons. Prosser also accurately predicted key elements of the Liquid Glass redesign that ultimately appeared in iOS 26, with rounder interface elements and pill-shaped tab bars [MacRumors].

Apple’s complaint alleges that Ramacciotti accessed a development iPhone belonging to Apple employee Ethan Lipnik, obtained his passcode, and used location tracking to determine when Lipnik was away.
