Francis Ngannou parted ways with the UFC in January of 2023 following a rocky relationship.
As leaving the promotion, Ngannou has been critical of some of the things that Dana White has said about him.
The UFC president has previously stated that he wanted to cut the former champion and believes that his public perception isn’t a fair reflection of what he is like to work with.
In a recent interview, White shared a story of Ngannou grabbing hold of him during a meeting they had in his office where the fighter was upset to have not received a post-fight bonus.
A former member of UFC staff recently explained why he “100% believes” this story.

It’s been no secret as he left the UFC that
bullying. He struck me as a bully.”
When one response asked for specific stories, Evans went on to explain that while he never saw Ngannou get physical with a member of UFC staff, he still questioned his behaviour.
“It’s 8yrs or so, so some of the specifics are hazy but one I witnessed myself was him standing over one of the women who designed UFC key art and wanting changes.don’t misunderstand, nothing like putting his hands on anyone, but he’s a big scary dude and he had no business standing over people’s desks telling them what he wanted.Almost all fighters are their worst selves fight week – the pressure, the weight cut etc.Francis was unreal obnoxious to people just doing their jobs.”
Francis Ngannou seemingly settled a disagreement with the PFL several months ago
Despite only competing onc for the promotion sence signing with them in May of 2023, Francis ngannou remains a huge asset for the PFL.
However, in August, PFL chairman Donn Davis admitted he was “disappointed” after the former UFC heavyweight champion didn’t attend their event in Africa.
Ngannou explained that he wasn’t happy with the way the event came togethersuggesting that there was friction between the two parties.
A video posted by Ngannou the following month seemingly settled this issue as he promoted the promotion’s event that took place on October 18.
