With a career spanning nearly 65 years, Franco Nero has finally received his star on Hollywood’s iconic Walk of Fame. The event took place during the eleventh edition of Filming Italy – Los Angeles, a festival created and directed by Tiziana Rocca.
On Thursday 12 February, in Los Angeles, Franco Nero was awarded a star on the Walk of Fame by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The honor was conferred on the actor during the eleventh edition of Filming Italy – Los Angeles, founded and directed by Tiziana Rocca. The same thing happened in 2018 with Gina Lollobrigida and in 2023 with Giancarlo Giannini. “It was a great satisfaction to be the promoter with my festival, Filming Italy – Los Angeles, of this third Italian star dedicated to the great Franco Nero on the Hollywood Walk of Fame” – declared the Rocca. “It is a truly deserved honour. For years Filming Italy has collaborated with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce which since 1953 has promoted and supported the Walk of Fame, the famous street dedicated to cinema, created to maintain its glory”.

Knowing that my artistic journey has left such an important mark fills me with pride and pushes me to look to the future with the same passion and determination as always (…) I dedicate this star to my family, who has always been by my side, and to the public all over the world who has followed and supported my work with affection and loyalty. Without them, none of this would have been possible.
