Epic Dance Studios and Tolson Center Partner to Offer Free Dance Classes to Elkhart Youth
ELKHART — Epic Dance Studios, in collaboration with the Tolson Center, will launch a series of free weekly dance classes for young people in Elkhart, beginning March 4, 2026. The program, sponsored by Global Link Distribution, aims to increase access to dance education by removing financial barriers for local youth.
Class Schedule and Age Groups
Classes will be held at the Tolson Center and are divided into two age groups:
- Youth (ages 6-11): 4:30-5:15 p.m.
- Teens: 5:30-6:15 p.m.
A Shared Mission of Youth Development
The partnership between Epic Dance Studios and the Tolson Center reflects a commitment to youth development through mentorship, enrichment, and community engagement. According to a press release, both organizations share a vision for investing in the next generation.
Dance Styles and Performance Opportunities
Epic Dance Studios offers instruction in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, hip-hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, and fusion dance. The studio emphasizes character-building through the performing arts. Participants in the free classes will have the opportunity to perform in Epic Dance Studios’ spring showcase in May at The Lerner Theatre.
