About the New Parent Support Program
The Army’s New Parent Support Program (NPSP) aims to build strong and resilient military families by promoting positive parent-child relationships. The NPSP offers a variety of services, including home visits, support groups, and parenting classes, to help families cope with the challenges of parenthood and military life. Fort Drum’s NPSP focuses on providing individualized support for new and expecting parents. Staff members are licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) or registered nurses (RNs) with experience working with families and young children. MCCS New Parent Support similarly offers resources and support for new parents.
