Marie Aline Le Bronnec, a newspaper delivery worker from Grâces in the Côtes-d’Armor department of France, has launched a grave-cleaning business named Les mains du souvenir, according to regional reporting by Ouest-France. Operating within a 50-kilometer radius, the new venture offers professional headstone and burial site maintenance to clients across local communities.

Launching Les mains du souvenir in Côtes-d’Armor

The newly established auto-entreprise, Les mains du souvenir, provides specialized grave-cleaning services directly to families who cannot maintain the resting places of their loved ones themselves. According to Ouest-France, Le Bronnec established the business to serve the cemetery in Grâces as well as surrounding municipalities within a 50-kilometer catchment area in the Côtes-d’Armor department.

The initiative stems from a personal commitment to tending memorial sites. Le Bronnec has spent years caring for the graves of her own family members, a background that directly inspired the commercial launch of her cleaning enterprise.

Balancing Early Morning Newspaper Delivery

Before launching her grave-maintenance venture, Le Bronnec established a routine as a delivery courier for Ouest-France. According to Ouest-France, her daily delivery rounds begin at approximately 3:00 AM.

For the past three years, she has transported and delivered the regional daily newspaper to residents across several local communes, including Bégard, Plouisy, Tréglamus, and Pédernec. Newspaper distribution is deeply rooted in her family history, with her parents and sisters also having worked as delivery couriers for the publication.
