Friderica Widyasari Dewi Named Chair of Indonesia’s OJK Board
Jakarta – Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives has appointed Friderica Widyasari Dewi as Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The decision was made following a fit and proper test on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 and will be finalized at a DPR RI Plenary Meeting on March 12, 2026. Voi.id reports that, alongside Dewi’s appointment, Commission XI similarly selected four other candidates to fill key positions within the OJK.
Key Appointments to the OJK Board
- Friderica Widyasari Dewi – Chairperson of the OJK Board
- Hernawan Bekti Sasongko – Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority
- Hasan Fawzi – Chief Executive of Capital Market, Derivatives Finance, and Carbon Exchange
- Dicky Kartikoyono – Chief Executive of the OJK’s Financial Services, Education, and Consumer Protection Conduct Supervisor
- Adi Budiarso – Chief Executive of the Financial Sector Innovation Supervisor, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets
These appointments are for the 2026-2031 period. The selections follow a series of Fit and Proper Tests conducted by Commission XI. Synergy between regulatory policies, supervision from the OJK, and legislative support from Commission XI of the DPR RI are expected to support the capital market in 2026.
