From Customer Support to Business Growth: How Agentic AI is Evolving

Hostinger launched a new agentic tool on September 3, 2026, designed to manage business tasks ranging from customer support to marketing campaigns within a single platform. According to Emilis Strimaitis, Head of Product Innovation at Hostinger, the system aims to move beyond simple troubleshooting by handling ongoing operations once a support ticket is closed.

The Evolution of Support AI Into Agentic Platforms

Traditional customer support tools typically focus on resolving immediate issues or escalating tickets to human agents. However, newer agentic systems are expanding those capabilities. According to research firm Gartner cited in company announcements, 60% of brands are projected to use agentic AI across marketing, sales, and support by 2028 to deliver continuous interactions.

Customer expectations are shifting in the same direction. A 2026 report from Zendesk indicates that 81% of consumers want customer service conversations to continue without backtracking, while 74% express frustration when forced to repeat information across different channels.

Hostinger integrated this continuous approach into its platform, which serves over five million customers globally. The newly released Hostinger Agent combines standard customer support functions with specialized AI modules for search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, marketing, and recurring task management.

How Hostinger Agent Operates at Scale

The infrastructure behind the tool currently processes approximately 1.5 million conversations each month, averaging 35 requests every minute. According to company data, the system resolves 91% of these inquiries without human intervention.

“The first challenge was getting AI to answer correctly. Then it was getting AI to actually solve the problem,” said Strimaitis in a statement released on September 3, 2026. “Now that the vast majority of issues are resolved automatically, the more interesting question is why the conversation should stop there.”

By leveraging existing context—such as a user’s domain, hosting setup, business email, and previous interactions—the platform removes the setup friction typically required by standalone AI agents. Users can resolve a technical issue like a broken DNS record and immediately transition into planning an email marketing campaign or scheduling weekly performance reports within the same chat interface.

Integration With AI Builder

The agent is also embedded directly inside Hostinger’s AI Builder. This allows users to build websites, applications, and online stores while simultaneously managing technical troubleshooting, SEO discussions, and launch planning without switching between separate dashboards.

“The AI industry has spent the past two years giving people more assistants, copilots, and agents to choose from. We want customers to stop choosing between them,” Strimaitis stated.

Human Oversight and AI CX Engineers

When the system encounters technical complexities it cannot resolve independently, the platform utilizes a specialized human-in-the-loop framework rather than routing users to a traditional live-chat queue. Human specialists, designated as AI CX Engineers, step into the active conversation to provide context and validate responses.

Since the introduction of this model at the end of the second quarter of 2026, internal metrics show that the share of specialist-guided AI conversations resolved without further escalation climbed from 41% to 72%. Meanwhile, traditional live-chat volume dropped from 10% to 4.5%. Median resolution times for these assisted AI interactions average approximately three minutes, compared to over 50 minutes for standard live chats.
