Tallahassee Campuses Shift to Remote Operations Friday

FSU’s Tallahassee campuses, including the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, will shift to remote operations beginning at 8 a.m. Friday. By noon, the university will suspend all normal business operations and cancel classes for the remainder of the day. The FSU Coastal and Marine Lab in St. Teresa will close entirely for the duration of Friday.

Essential business operations are scheduled to continue on campus. Employees categorized as on-site essential personnel are instructed to consult their supervisors regarding specific work expectations and scheduling. For salaried employees whose job duties cannot be performed remotely and who are not designated as essential, the university will grant administrative leave. Human Resources is expected to provide timekeeping instructions to staff on Thursday.
