John M. Boushy Joins Galaxy Gaming Board of Directors
Galaxy Gaming, Inc. appointed John M. Boushy to its Board of Directors as a Class II Director, effective October 21, 2026, according to a press release issued in Las Vegas and reported by it.investing.com. After four years on the board, Meredith Brill notified directors of her plan to resign, paving the way for Boushy to take her place.
The newly appointed director brings more than 45 years of executive experience across the gaming, hospitality, technology, and entertainment sectors, as stocktitan.net reported. Boushy currently serves as the founder and managing member of Boushy Consulting, LLC, where he advises operators, investors, and senior executives on strategic, operational and development matters.
Boushy Led Ameristar Casinos and Harrah's Entertainment
Before establishing his consulting practice, Boushy held top leadership roles at major hospitality and gaming enterprises. His previous executive duties included holding the roles of president, chief executive officer, and director at Ameristar Casinos, Inc., directing the company’s overall operational direction and expansion plans.
His career also includes more than two decades at Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. During his tenure there, he held senior executive positions such as executive vice president of project development, design, and construction, chief integration officer, and chief information officer. He oversaw enterprise-wide strategic growth initiatives and managed the integration of the merger between Harrah’s Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment.
Consulting Work and Advisory Roles
Through Boushy Consulting, LLC, Boushy took on management responsibilities with the parent company of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He also acted as an advisor to the Second Priority Noteholders Committee during the bankruptcy proceedings of Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, later serving on the board of Caesars Entertainment after its emergence from bankruptcy.
Since 2015, Boushy has also held the position of co-founder and chairman of the parent company of ReelMetrics. Galaxy Gaming chairman Mark Lipparelli noted that this extensive background in technology innovation, corporate governance, and strategic planning aligns with the company’s objectives.
Future Growth Strategy for Galaxy Gaming
Galaxy Gaming develops and distributes casino table games and technology to physical and online operators worldwide. The company currently holds 131 licenses globally, which includes licenses across 28 U.S. states.
