The seventh year of the event will take place from March 13 to 15 in Prague’s O2 universe. Visitors can expect competition shows, literary and comic novelties or thematic exhibitions, the organizers announced.
“Among the newly confirmed foreign guests is Giancarlo Esposito, winner of the Emmy Award and representative of iconic roles in the series Gingerbread Daddy, Call Saul or The Mandalorian. Iain Glen, known primarily for his role as Jorah Mormont in the series Game of Thrones, but also from the film series Resident Evil and other international projects, will also arrive,” says Pavel Renčín from Active Radio, which organizes the festival.

Fans of current serial hits could also be pleased with the participation of actors Craig Fairbrass and Vincent Regan, who appeared in the live adaptation of the Japanese animated series One Piece by Netflix. The series was one of his most watched titles.
The Czech scene will be prominently represented. For example, Jiří Lábus will arrive, whose career includes theater, film and television roles and, according to the organizers, also dozens of unforgettable dubbing characters.
“This year we are emphasizing exclusive talks, a literary and comic book program as well as special projects. Fans can look forward to the popular competition show Superlov, which is brought to Comic-Con Prague by the Oneplay platform. Another prominent point of the program will be a meeting of the Czech voice actors of the Vampire Diaries series, which will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the Czech version of this cult series,” adds Václav Pravda, the festival’s program director.
The literary program will be enriched by the launch of the Czech-Polish anthology The Last Shot, which will be attended by, among others, the writer Leoš Kyša alias František Kotleta, and a subsequent discussion with most of the authors, including Polish creators. This program is created in cooperation with the Polish Institute.
Writers Juraj Červenák and Vladimír Šlechta will also speak at the joint discussion. The festival will also include thematic exhibitions, among other things, exhibitions of signatures of foreign actors and original movie posters.

Comics should have a strong presence. Italian author Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri, creator of the popular Druuna series, as well as Mirka Andolfo, one of the most prominent contemporary comic book authors, will arrive thanks to the collaboration with the Crew publishing house.
Last year’s Comic-Con was visited by more than 23 thousand people. The first such meeting of fans of comics, science fiction and fantasy films, series and books took place in the USA in 1970. Last year, the fourth year of the Comic-Con Junior event, which focuses more on children, took place in Brno.
