Status of GeForce NOW Summer Savings
NVIDIA is currently in the final phase of its summer promotional sale. The company confirmed that users can save $35 on a 12-month Performance membership or $70 on a 12-month Ultimate membership.
These subscription tiers are designed to provide cloud-based hardware access for users on low-powered devices, such as tablets, handhelds, or older PCs. The Ultimate tier specifically provides access to cloud servers equivalent to RTX 4080 performance, incorporating features such as NVIDIA DLSS, ray tracing, and NVIDIA Reflex to reduce input latency.
How GeForce NOW Tiers Compare
The service operates on a tiered subscription model, prioritizing different levels of graphical fidelity and server priority.
| Feature | Performance Membership | Ultimate Membership |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware | RTX-powered servers | RTX 4080-class performance |
| Key Features | Standard cloud access | Ray tracing, DLSS, Reflex |
| Primary Benefit | High-quality streaming | Cinematic visuals, low latency |
Accessing Games Across Devices
GeForce NOW functions by streaming games from remote servers, allowing users to play titles they own on platforms like Steam or Ubisoft Connect without needing high-end local hardware. According to NVIDIA, the service supports a wide range of hardware, including Mac, Windows PCs, mobile devices, and smart TVs. Users can manage their libraries by linking their existing accounts from supported digital storefronts directly to the GeForce NOW application.
