The discussion took an unexpected turn when presenter Wilfred Genee commented on Nijkamp having a “extremely handsome husband,” implying Joling did not possess the same attribute. Joling responded with a surprising admission: “I even have to advise you that it has been so bad that I have been in love with her husband.” Nijkamp reacted with visible shock, covering her mouth in surprise.

Joling explained that his feelings arose when Nijkamp introduced her husband. “At one point you introduced your husband and I thought: gosh Mina, what a handsome guy,” he said.
