On the day before the computer game awards ceremony, the GG Bavaria Business Day 2026 focuses on the Bavarian and German games industry.
At the end of April, the Bavarian capital will be all about games: the official German computer game prize will be awarded in the noble residence on the evening of April 29th (a Wednesday). The DCP trophies carry prize money totaling €800,000.
The day before – namely on April 28th (a Tuesday) – it rose GG Bavaria Business Day 2026. Anyone traveling to Munich for the DCP will be able to attend two industry events at the same time. The one-day specialist conference will be decoupled from the consumer gaming trade fair of the same name, which will take place from March 6th to 8th in the Small Olympic Hall.
With the GG Bavaria Business Day, the organizer – the state-run Medien Bayern GmbH and the Games Bavaria initiative based there – wants to bring the games industry together and network.
Today’s announcement also starts Call for Participation: We are looking for contributions for the lecture/panel program as well as exhibitors and sponsors.
Where exactly the GG Bavaria Business Day 2026 will take place is still unclear: the specific venue will be communicated at a later date.
The GamesWirtschaft calendar 2026 documents further dates of trade fairs, conferences and events in German-speaking countries.
