The San Francisco Giants have reached an agreement with outfielder Harrison Bader on a two-year contract worth $20.5 million,according to a source familiar with the negotiations.

The agreement, revealed on Monday, is contingent upon a successful medical examination.the source requested anonymity as the deal has not yet been officially announced by the team.

Bader, 31, showcased a strong performance in 2025, maintaining a.277 batting average across 146 games with both the Minnesota Twins and the Philadelphia Phillies. He contributed 17 home runs and 54 RBIs to his teams’ efforts.

His impact was particularly notable with the Phillies, where he was acquired mid-season at the July 31 trade deadline. Bader excelled in Philadelphia,posting a .305 batting average.

Known for his defensive prowess, Bader earned a Gold Glove award in center field while playing for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021. He demonstrated versatility with the Twins, playing all three outfield positions. The Phillies primarily utilized him in center field.

Throughout his nine-year Major League Baseball career, the right-handed hitter has amassed a .247 batting average, 88 home runs, 322 RBIs, and 105 stolen bases. Bader has previously played for the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Mets along with the Cardinals, Twins, and Phillies.
