‘God of War’ Series Reveals First Look at Kratos and Atreus in Live-Action Adaptation
Prime Video has unveiled the first official image of Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as Atreus in its upcoming live-action adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game, God of War. Production is currently underway in Vancouver.
Casting and Plot Details
The series, which has received a two-season order, will draw inspiration from the storylines of the more recent God of War games. The narrative follows Kratos and his son Atreus as they journey to scatter the ashes of Faye, Kratos’ deceased wife, from the highest peak. Throughout their travels, Kratos aims to guide Atreus towards becoming a better god, although Atreus seeks to aid his father embrace his humanity. Variety
