Pixel 10a Expected to Feature Tensor G4, May Lack Telephoto Lens and Advanced Features
New evidence suggests Google’s upcoming Pixel 10a may utilize the Tensor G4 chip, rather than the newer Tensor G5 expected in the Pixel 10, according to a report from 9to5Google. This information comes from leaker Mystic Leaks on Telegram, who also detailed other potential specifications for the device.
The Pixel 10a is anticipated to maintain a similar design to the Pixel 9a. However, Mystic Leaks indicates the phone will likely forgo a telephoto lens and feature UFS 3.1 storage. Other reported specifications include a 2,000-nit display. Notably, the device is also expected to lack “Magic Cue,” Google’s AI feature planned for the pixel 10 (9to5Google).
This suggests Google might potentially be positioning the Pixel 10a as a more budget-friendly option, differentiating it from the flagship Pixel 10 through component choices and feature availability.
