Design and Dial Typography by Nobuhiro Kosugi
Kosugi, a 40-year industry veteran and Contemporary Master Craftsman recipient, engineered a bespoke Arabic numeral font designed to harmonize seamlessly with the brand’s logo. Kosugi previously led the modern 44GS redesign and designed the GPHG-winning SBGJ005. The watch features a dark blue dial framed by a “Japan Blue” crocodile leather strap dyed using traditional Japanese indigo dyeing techniques, alongside an included supplementary grey leather strap.
Movement Specifications and Case Dimensions
The watch is housed in a 37.3mm stainless steel case measuring 11.7mm in thickness. It features a retro box-shaped sapphire crystal equipped with an inner anti-reflective coating and carries a water-resistance rating of 3 ATM.
