Serious Traffic Incident in Groningen: Woman Injured, Shop Facade Damaged in Ter Apel

A 31-year-old woman from Groningen sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident in Stad, Groningen, on Friday morning. Simultaneously, a separate incident in Ter Apel resulted in a car colliding with the facade of a shop.

Accident in Stad

According to RTV Noord, the accident occurred on the Europaweg in Stad. Both the woman and a 55-year-old man from Slochteren, also involved in the collision, were transported to the hospital for treatment. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Shop Facade Damaged in Ter Apel

Also on Friday morning, a car crashed into the front of a shop in Ter Apel. RTV Noord reports this incident occurred concurrently with the Stad accident.
