Guala Closures Acquires G3 Enterprises Screw Cap Assets to Boost North American Production
Guala Closures reached an agreement to acquire the majority of the production equipment from G3 Enterprises’ aluminum wine screw cap division, shifting a larger share of bottle closure manufacturing into Mexico to serve the United States market. The transaction links two established beverage suppliers in a move designed to shorten delivery times and build supply chain resilience across the Americas. L’acquisizione rafforza la presenza industriale di Guala Closures in Nord e Sud America e consolida lo storico rapporto con i settori del vino e dei distillati, in linea con la strategia del Gruppo di servire i clienti il più vicino possibile ai loro mercati,
the companies stated regarding the transaction.
Rosarito Plant Expansion Powers Regional Distribution
The newly acquired machinery will be installed primarily at Guala’s recently acquired manufacturing facility in Rosarito, Mexico. This plant expansion aims to speed up fulfillment for wine and spirits producers throughout the United States and Latin America. Guala Closures manages 39 production plants, operates in more than 100 countries, and reported revenues exceeding 923 million euros in 2025, alongside a workforce of over 5,000 employees and more than 200 patents.
Strategic Supply Partnership Maintains Customer Continuity
Under the terms of the agreement, Guala becomes a strategic supplier of screw caps to G3 Enterprises, while G3 continues to manage customer relationships and distribution services. Existing customers who purchase closures through G3 will experience continuity in their supply chains, as G3 transitions its focus from manufacturing to sales, logistics, and supply chain management for the wine, beverage, and agricultural sectors.
L’accordo con G3 Enterprises è un passo importante nella strategia di rafforzamento della presenza di Guala Closures negli Stati Uniti e in tutto il continente americano,
