Regent University to Host renowned Animator Bob Langston

Virginia Beach, VA – February 16, 2026 – Regent University’s Animation Club is pleased to announce a special event featuring Bob Langston, a highly accomplished mixed-media artist, former Regent University animation instructor, and the creator of the captivating “Spillusions” art series. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST.

Langston will share insights into his extensive artistic journey, spanning over 36 years in animation, illustration, storyboarding, fine art, and education. Attendees will have the exclusive chance to view a screening of his newly restored, hand-drawn animation – a remarkable project crafted from over 1,000 individual index-card drawings. Original flip-book samples from the “Spillusions” project will also be on display.
