Gwadar University Vice Chancellor and Pro-VC Abducted Near Mastung
Four individuals, including the top leadership of Gwadar University, have been abducted while traveling from the coastal city of Gwadar to Quetta. The missing party includes Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, who disappeared alongside their private secretary and driver.
Details of the Disappearance
The officials were traveling in an official government vehicle when they went missing on the road to Quetta. According to reports, contact with the group was severed after they reached the surroundings of Mastung. Security officials specified that the abduction occurred near Kund Imrani Khud Kucha, where armed men had established a picket to check passing vehicles.

The Balochistan Home Ministry spokesman, Babar Yousafzai, confirmed that four people were taken by gunmen. In addition to the Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor, the victims have been identified as the driver and private secretary, Dr. Irshad.

Deputy Commissioner Mastung, Bahram Saleem, confirmed the incident and stated that authorities are maintaining constant contact with the families of the missing officials. He noted that every effort is being made to trace the group after contact was lost in the Mastung area.
