Universal Studios Florida is officially launching Halloween Horror Nights 35 on Friday, August 28, 2026, bringing 48 select nights of terror to the Orlando theme park, running through Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Haunted Houses and Pop Culture Icons

The 10 all-new haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights 35 feature a mix of cinematic franchises, heavy metal icons, and returning park legends. The complete verified house lineup includes:

  • Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness: An all-original house paying tribute to the legendary heavy metal pioneer and his solo career, inspired by his twisted mind.
  • Hellraiser: Marking the franchise’s first-ever themed haunted house appearance nearly 40 years after its cinematic debut, guiding guests into a realm of pure pain ruled by Pinhead and the Cenobites.
  • Stranger Things: Featuring the return to Hawkins, continuing the event’s collaboration with the hit Netflix series.
  • Evil Dead Burn: A terrifying walk-through based on the new film, dropping visitors into a family home taken over by an infernal force and bloodthirsty Deadites.
  • Sinners: An immersive house inspired by the film Sinners, turning opening night at the Smokestack Twins’ juke joint into a blood-soaked battle against a hive mind of vampires.
  • H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!: The return of WKNB’s beloved maître d’ macabre for a special scare-athon filled with ghouls and gore.
  • MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals: A harrowing fight for survival through a crumbling, abandoned zoo overtaken by warring cannibal factions.
  • Cybergoria: A futuristic nightmare where subterranean machines operate under the chilling mandate of keeping visitors alive forever, no matter the cost, under the tagline “Immortality Comes at a Cost.”
  • INVASION: Alien Abduction: A remote homestead encounter with Gray aliens who have descended to claim fresh test subjects.

Scare Zones and Live Entertainment

Universal Studios Florida will host four distinct scare zones and street experiences across the park grounds. The announced scare zones include Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, where Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow preside over a carnival designed so that its first letters spell out the iconic acronym ICON. Additional scare zones announced for the 35th year include Sideshow of Decay, Downtown Clowntown, and FORTNITEMARES.

For visitors seeking specialized access, Universal offers several guided experiences:

  • R.I.P. Tours: The newly introduced five-house R.I.P. Tour starts at $299.99 plus tax, guiding groups through either a North or South route with priority entry and Unlimited Express at participating rides. The full 10-house R.I.P. Tour remains available with a light-appetizer reception, valet parking, and reserved show seating.
  • Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tours: Daytime, lights-on walking tours showcasing three or six houses without requiring theme park admission.
  • Scream Early: An add-on option that grants entry to Universal Studios Florida after 2 p.m. on event days, allowing guests to knock out up to three houses before the official 5 p.m. event opening, provided they hold a valid HHN ticket.

Additionally, Premium Scream Night returns for two limited-capacity dates on Thursday, August 27, and Monday, October 19, 2026. This low-attendance ticket includes shorter wait times, select all-you-care-to-enjoy food and nonalcoholic beverages, a souvenir credential, free self-parking, and—uniquely for this ticket tier—permission for guests to wear costumes following Universal’s safety guidelines, while costume masks remain strictly prohibited.
