Children’s Theater
“Frieda and Frog”
The Tandera Theater will perform “Frieda and Frog” at KulturA in Neuallermöhe. The play, geared towards children aged 3.5 and up, tells the story of Frieda the toad and Fredy the frog and their differing views on hibernation and enjoying life’s adventures. “Prinz Eile”
The Fundus Theater will present “Prinz Eile,” a children’s play about the power of imagination, for children aged 6 and up. The performance begins at 2:00 PM. Tickets start at €7.
Music & Performing Arts
Organ Concert – Marco d’Avola
Marco d’Avola will perform an organ concert at St. John’s Church Altona/The Culture Church at 5:00 PM. A donation is requested.
Classical Music in the Club – Jiuning Liu (Jazz)
Enjoy contemporary jazz by Jiuning Liu at the Honigfabrik at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM). Reservations are required via email.
Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra
The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra will perform a classical concert at the Elbphilharmonie (Great Hall) at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at €10.
“Tomcat of the Future” – Theater
The Atrium Theater will host a stage evening featuring “Tomcat of the Future” at 6:00 PM. Tickets range from €5 to €28.
Other Events
Pleated Skirt (Over 60s Dance Evening)
A party for those over 60 (under 60s welcome when accompanied) will be held at the Factory in the Brückenviertel from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring rock’n’roll, twist, funk & soul. Admission is “pay what it’s worth.”
Fairy Tale Opera “Rumpelstiltskin” in Volksdorf
A performance of the fairy tale opera “Rumpelstiltskin” by the children’s and youth choirs will take place at the Kirche am Rockenhof at 5:00 PM. Admission is free (with a collection requested).
FC St. Pauli – SV Werder Bremen (Live in Bar + Beer Garden)
Watch the Bundesliga game between FC St. Pauli and SV Werder Bremen on a large screen at KNUST (slatted place), with doors opening at 2:00 PM and the game starting at 5:30 PM. Admission is free.
