The trap feared by coach Làera was not sprung. The potential pitfalls of the challenge were immediately eliminated, Macagi Cingoli beat 27-35 Sparer Eppan earning two platinum points. Positive, in the context of the exciting team performance, the debut of the Serbian full-back Balsa Stevovic and the goalkeeper’s test Alex Martini who, although not physically at their best, prevented the deficit from being closed with a series of saves.
