Hartford Man Charged with Murder in Connection with Woman’s Death
HARTFORD, CT – A Hartford man has been charged with murder after a 75-year-aged woman was found dead in an apartment on Washington Street Sunday evening, according to Hartford Police.
Ottahu Holder, 52, was charged with murder and interfering with police. He is currently being held on a $1 million bond, WTNH reports.
Details of the Incident
Police responded to 194 Washington St. At approximately 6:58 p.m. On Sunday for a wellbeing check on a female who was reported to be unconscious and not breathing, FOX61 News detailed. Upon arrival, officers encountered Holder inside the apartment, who initially refused to cooperate and blocked their entry.
After gaining access, officers discovered Linda Anthony suffering from severe head trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions assumed control of the investigation, WFSB News stated.
Ongoing Investigation
