Southern Thailand Floods Leave Over 140 Dead
Severe flooding in Southern Thailand has resulted in at least 145 deaths, with teh province of Songkhla being the hardest hit. As of Friday, residents in areas like Hat Yai Nai in the Khuan Lang district are beginning the tough task of cleaning up debris and damaged belongings after floodwaters started to recede.
The majority of fatalities – 110 – have been recorded in Songkhla province. Authorities continue to assess the full extent of the damage and provide assistance to affected communities.
The floods have left streets covered in wreckage, impacting homes and businesses. Residents are facing meaningful challenges as they attempt to recover from this disaster.
