Goldenvoice Announces HEAD TRIP: A New EDM Festival at the Coachella Grounds
Goldenvoice, the company behind the iconic Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, is launching a new electronic dance music (EDM) festival called HEAD TRIP, set to capture place October 10-11 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California [1]. The festival will feature a star-studded lineup and a unique immersive experience.
Lineup Highlights
The lineup boasts some of the biggest names in EDM, including Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, and Dom Dolla [1]. Saturday’s performances will include sets from Fisher b2b Chris Lake (as Under Construction), Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling [2]. Sunday will feature Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey [2].
Unique Festival Experience
HEAD TRIP will differentiate itself from other large-scale EDM festivals by featuring all artists performing on a single stage, eliminating set time conflicts [3]. The festival will also debut the U.S. Version of the Sunflower Sound System, designed by Floating Points [1]. This immersive experience will be housed within a domed tent featuring mycelium paneling, advanced acoustic treatments, and artwork by DJ and artist Josephine Chime [1]. Floating Points will DJ throughout the weekend with special guests.
Logistics and Tickets
Goldenvoice will offer free parking starting at 1 PM, with car camping and shuttle passes also available for purchase [1]. Tickets for the 18+ event go on sale March 13 [1]. Hotel packages are available starting at $2,150 for a two-night stay, including GA tickets for two people [2].
Goldenvoice’s Festival History
HEAD TRIP follows Goldenvoice’s previous successful one-off events on the Coachella grounds, including the 2023 rock festival Power Trip, featuring Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Guns N’ Roses [1], and the 2016 classic rock-focused Desert Trip, which included performances by Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones [1].
