The head coach of Brest talks about the match with Mogilev (0:4).
– Thanks to the fans for coming. Of course they are disappointed with our performance. In principle, we are also disappointed with her. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to score even one goal, which might have given us energy. But this did not happen. Everything comes from the head. Today we all played with headphones on and couldn’t hear each other. To get back into the game, you need to work together and correct mistakes together, help each other. If this does not happen, then, of course, there will be errors, which leads to our goal being taken. It’s okay, there are 7 games left, and then everything will fall into place.
– It seemed that the match went in waves. First Mogilev attacks, then Brest. Why couldn’t you take control of the game?
– Starting from the second period, we were more on the puck. But being on the puck does not mean creating scoring chances. Yes, there were exits, there were counterattacks. But there were no goals. It was simply necessary for everyone to concentrate and clearly work out the last 20 minutes and complete the game task, which, unfortunately, was not possible to do.
– Not a single top five managed to unseal the Mogilev gates today. Are you planning to shuffle the links somehow?
– With 20 people you can’t train much, unfortunately. So we will shuffle globally.
– Although Brest didn’t have much of a majority today, it was still possible to cling on. What was wrong with this component?
– We didn’t hear each other. I had to take off my headphones and ask: “And what?”. This bothered us. We needed to play for one or two, but we play for seven and eight.
– Tell us how you spent the international break?
– Generally “magnificent”, as we see. We will continue to work.
